Lifestwists expresses a myriad of perspectives gathered from Eric Harrison’s journey down the winding roads of life.
What was the Genesis?
Several years ago, Eric Harrison faced one of the biggest challenges of his life – he had a heart attack. This life-altering experience however, was not wasted on remorse or regret, instead it birthed a riveting compilation of poems, short stories and anecdotes that were inspired by the many questions he had about life and its winding roads.
What is Lifestwists?
Lifestwists represents the cathartic therapy Eric went through after his life-threatening heart attack. His mind was in disarray and began questioning everything that was in his life. From Self to Relationships to Love to Relationships, he questioned it all. All of those things became distorted and had many twists and turns – Lifestwists was born.
What’s the Purpose?
He hopes and believe’s this book will open the eyes of people who are so focused on the moving part of their lives, they never take the time to find out what really makes them tick; what really makes them happy. It will encourage people to peel back the layers of the onion and live their best life.

I give Eric L. Harrison's book "LIFESTWISTS" 👍👍and ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. I am reading the book while at work. It's hard to put down for much of it I can relate and because I am often a person that seeks knowledge and understanding. Knowledge is certainly there but is tied to a peace .... a whole new perspective ..... an alternative approach to all aspects of life. I enjoy reading this book so far as I am still in Chapter 1 "Map". I also get to experience what is to walk in Eric's shoes or just know him partially. I almost feel your frustrations ("Rendering"), your uncertainties ("Self"), and your transitioning / transformation in a strange place ("Alien on a Strange Land").

The book! "Lifetwists" is a must read! You can find a "straight" path into your own reality. Our own unconscious decisions to not heal. I found it to be an awakening of my internal soul. Lifestwists is an easy read, not because it is simple, but because it is true. As you encounter each new set of pages you will find yourself either lovingly examining your own life, or critically thinking on how you can be and do better. Life’stwists is at once accessible and strength building. I took Notes in mine as I wondered things that the book brought up for me, and revisit the notes and pieces of the book often. In general I think that the thought provoking nature of this book does not over shadow the excitement and page turning energy a reader gets when they want to keep letting the thoughtful writings come to life in their own memories, goals and present.

The book “LifesTwists” is a brilliant compilation of words that make one look from within themselves. It is as if I have been introduced to myself and given a whole new perspective on how I have been navigating through life yet presents a clear road map on how I need to continue my travel through life’s journey to achieve ultimate success, and lay ahold to what is mine.
This publication has redefined and refined what success really is. Each page left me in anticipation to turn and experience the next page. If anyone is going through something in life or just living life I highly recommend this read. It has blessed me exponentially and I am certain it will not disappoint.
The authors word selection, his analogies, and mere references will put you in a space of Deja Vu and literally put you in a time and place of your very own life. Have you ever heard a speech or sermon and felt like the speaker was talking directly to your life and or your situation, referred to as a “rheme of word”, well author and narrator Eric Harrison has captured that rheme of word in his works.
This publication will awaken the full spectrum of human emotions known to man and some you may not even know exist. I have never given such a lengthy review on any book I have read but I am so full and would be remiss if I did not share.
This book has raised the bar on any future reads to grace my library. I am not one to place highlighter marks in my books or God forbid I crease a page but “LifesTwists” has me in full highlighter mode, turning down corners of pages as I must be able to go back and quickly reference specific areas.

One of the most influential books of 2018 that I read was Lifestwists: Poetic Navigation for Life’s Winding Roads by Eric L. Harrison. This book is a must read and is to be shared with younger and older generations. Everyone can learn and reflect on their own experiences from reading this book. It not only prepares one for navigating through the journey of life, but it also assists with ways to get through many of life’s challenges. The author writes a true story with a poetic flavor on how a man really thinks, feels, expresses himself, and keeps it 💯. Everyone...both men and women from age 16 and up can find their truth along Eric’s journey. Remember: Life is short...EYP.

I just finished reading Eric's book. It really is a beautiful book especially Eric sharing such thought provoking feelings and life lessons as a male in today's society. I found myself connecting with certain chapters in this book that brought clarity to my own actions and reactions in life.
